Been lurking on here a bit the last month or two as I get closer to having my shitbox on the road. Thought I'd throw a thread up incase anyone is interested.
You guys seem to do things a bit differently to the majority of guys in the drift scene.

    Basic specs:
r33 crossmember - rack moved forward 25mm and heavily cut out
    engine mounts re-made 100mm back
s15 steering rack + bolt in rack spacers and new oem tie rods + ends
    solid column spacer
    s13 (i think - dont remember) flca's 40mm longer
modified r34 front knuckles and hubs
    r33 gtst calipers and rotors
new p/s lines (braid pressure rubber return)

    rb25det
modifed sump (engine sits 100mm back)
    jdm garage magic remap computer
stupid large turbo (probably be changed/smaller rear housing put on later)
steampipe high mount manifold and turbosmart 38mm gate
    25box
solid 5 puck + hd pressure plate
china rad and intercooler (modified in/outlets)

    tt rear
aluminium subframe bushes (complete replacement items - no rubber)
haven't yet, but going to put a 32gtr diff in so it doesn't have gaylord ratios
    bc coils 12/10kg
    blah blah

    borrowed wheels

at this point, i need to sort the diff, make tailshaft, wire it, install fans, make exhaust and upper rad support and then just basic finishing junk.

if anyone in qld has std seats to sell i want some. cbf'd making rails at the moment.

r34 knuckles was just because it's what i had laying around at the time to use. didn't want to use z32 'cause of the huge ball joint taper and i had already put r33/34 ball joints into the lcas

i bought it in october last year as a rolling shell (no motor/box) from a young guy on the sunny coast. he was building a red 2seater

wheels on the back are ssr something's borrowed from my housemate, wheels on the front were sp1's from his boss. both 18x9.5 +20. i don't have any other photos of them on the 300, here they are on my housemates old beater car

wheels on the e36 are chinese, cs01's or something from Cartel. 17x9 +10 and 17x10 +10, might chuck them on for a look tomorrow if you want.
Put a deposit on these the other day, wasn't going to go this direction with wheels but i think they look decent. 18x9.5 +20 all round, need better tyre sizes though

Bonnet hitting the engine? Or did you leave the ratchet under there :p

Want to keep front bar man, infact need to get another to muck around with.
Bonnet is propped because some dickhead put the throttlebody adaptor on wrong (it was me). have fixed it since. bonnet only clears engine by mm's though haha.

hoping to have it wired next week. then sort diff + tailshaft and register it. paying for wheels slowed me down, but so worth it

Wait... This thing is going on the street? That's the best thing I've ever heard! Bring it to downshift when it's done!

For a man with little words, you've excited a few of us with this build...myself included. Will be good to see the skids.

After doing a whole lot of nothing, I finally got some motivation.
Over the last two weeks I made and exhaust and tailshaft, wired it and finished the cooling system (still not entirely happy with it though)

End result, today i drove it up and back the street. Have a private drift day april 7th, but might make it to one before then if all goes well

    Why RB?

    Where in Brissy are you?

    Also, why gtr diff?

Went rb because i had an r33 sedan prior and really liked the setup, they're cheap, i still had plenty of parts to suit, my housemate knows everything about them and easier to work on than vg etc etc.
i am 10mins north of cbd, nudgee
havent done diff yet. but i want 4.1 or 4.3, current is too long, especially with laggy turbo, and gtr diffs aren't worth much.

anyway. had a dud fuel pump, a mate got me a walbro and everything seems peachy.
    testing at qr tomorrow!

shitty photo from quick industrial run
