    hi .. info/clarification needed .... called at "BLAZEIT"'s

place today .. impressed with what i saw of his uninstalled kit and he has convinced me to "extract the digit" .. it is only his recommendation that i have "come around" ( just hope that you can assist him with the mis-order) ..

so to my question ... i am interested in the H3, low beam kit ... but am concerned that the 6000k will be too much ...( i have experienced several blinding rear view mirror issues from hid type lights that i would not want to impose upon other drivers ...) ... have read your comments on your 6000k as opposed to standard 4300k globes .. just need a little more clarification ... ??

grateful if you could explain, again, to an absolute ignorant in this field as to how your 6000k match up to other 4300k units ... or, alternatively can you recommend/supply a suitable 4300k globe to go with your product ... ???

... to reiterate .. am impressed and would really like to upgrade ...

Baz, the rating used (Kelvin) has to do with the colour of the light, not the brightness.
I have hid 5300K on my lows and it is very white with a hint of blue, a 6000k would have
a little more blue to it, but still very white and 8000k would be a little purple, etc.
But yeh, catch one at the wrong angle and they are all blinding.

6000K has an approximately 2900lm output, which is 3x the light output of the traditional halogen light and slightly less light output compared to the 4300K. Although it has a bit lesser light output, it emits pure whiter light with very slight and barely noticeable tint of blue and purple

8000K has an approximately 2500lm output, which is about 3x the light output of the traditional halogen light and slightly less light output compared to the 6000K. While it has a bit lesser light output, it emits a more blue light than the 6000K.

10000K has an approximately 2300lm output, which is more than 2x the light output of the traditional halogen light. 10000K produces a deep blue light output approaching violet and the blue is noticeably deeper than the 8000K.

12000K has an approximately 2100lm output, which is more than 2x the light output of the traditional halogen light. This color temperature puts out a deep bluish violet light and is deeper colored than the 10000K. It is for customer who is looking for the most extreme and most exotic looking light output.

please note: most customers have a common misconception that the higher the K (Kelvin temprature) the brighter it gets, but in fact, it's the opposite. The K rating is inversly proportional to the light output.
