No, I would produce quality products at a premium price and people would pay it, because they would think it has to be good as it would cost so much. :p It's like everything, take petrol. Do most of us really need 98 octane? Probably not, but it costs more so therefore must be better (I know some people have Z's tuned for it, but most of us wouldn't have an issue running premium, same goes for alot of jap cars actually haha).

Or look at the brake cylinder topper being sold a while ago, no one wanted to buy it because it seemed too cheap, but at the end of the day it;s an L-shaped piece of metal bolted to the chassis, how much ya wanna pay for it lol. As the seller said, if he had of quadrupled the price, it probably would have sold.

I think I lost my original train of thought somewhere back there. Haven't slept in quite a while. Damn uni thesis due so soon :(

Another way to put it, this is all China doing this copying. It borders on illegal and companies like BMW are suing them for this:

    BMW X5:

    ShuangHuan SCEO SUV

    Apple iPhone vs Chine iPhony:

If a company puts in all the work building it's image and reputation, they don't want another company coming along taking advantage of it. Oh I'm back on track again, how did that happen.

A free lesson about business for you :) :)

Well vbevan i think you are entitled to your opinions as we all are,i think thats a healthy way to be in todays society ,however there are a few points you make, which are very wrong

You talk about companies who live on the reputations and development of already established reputable businesses, you got that totally wrong
Do you think Samsung and LG invented the television ,no they didnt !! :)
Do you think Holden invented the motor car,or did they develop what had already been formulated by Ford many years before ,well yes they did !! :)

Theres nothing wrong with competition in the market place,if there wasnt ,we would all be paying $5 a phone call from Telstra wouldnt we ,and guess what Telstra didnt invent the mobile phone either :bash:

One thing that does trouble me with your comments is,you have watched a member copy all types of bodykits and now sideskirts, yet you wait until a new seller comes on the forum before you state how you dont like this happening ,why is that, safty in numbers i guess  :( :(

By the way ebuyproduct_HID,i will buy a set from you and test your product ,and if they are great lights,i will tell the whole forum,if i dont think they are,i will also tell the whole forum ,thats what businesses thrive on and how they get established with a reputable name, after all nearly nobody on this forum had heard of bankids before he started selling hids on this forum, and now he has a good reputable product and respected name, see vbevan it does work

I wasn't attacking ebuyproduct, or even the whole product, just the ballast.

In any case, your analogy was flawed. Holden didn't invent the car...well, no but they took the concept and made it their own.

OSRAM did the same. I mean, the first HID was in a BMW, a Bosch I believe. But OSRAM aren't called Besch. They developed there own product and established themselves. I mean, sure you can do it other ways, but what is a business without some ethics behind it?

As for a member copying skirts, he's not on selling them to my knowledge. There to save himself and friends money I think. Are you talking about a WA member or a Tas member actually? :p Cause the Tas member has permission for that :D

Anyhow, i'm gonna stop now, don't want to annoy the seller, though he is getting free bumps. Wonder how long till all this gets deleted by mods...

Fitted my H1 Hi Beam HID Kit today, and they work a treat. Thanks Ivan, well worth the price!:zlove::zlove::zlove::zlove:

All this bullshit because of a vague similarity in a name?:eek::eek:
Just for your information, OSRAM have been around for a very long time(as light globe/neon tube manufacturers), and they didn't invent them either(they just improved on someone elses design).

Now please get off your soapbox, and stop hijacking a legitimate For Sale thread.

lloyd which ones did you get? i'm interested, but don't want anything too bright.
still trying to get my head around all these different products available.
i want a light which will improve what stock lights i currently have. 4300k seems to be the go, which i'm guessing is not available?

I got the 6000K H1 for my Hi Beams(I already had 5000K Low Beams). There is only a very faint, slightly bluer tinge to the light. I have the Hi & Low on together mod, and with both lights on it's almost impossible to tell the difference between the two colours.:zlove::zlove:

There is a bit of mucking around to get the globes firmly mounted in the Hi Beams(unlike the direct fit with the Low Beams), but it only took about an hour for me to fit both of them.
You can use a large rubber grommet to replace the spring-loaded adapter from the original globe.
You need to get a grommet with a slightly larger diameter than the spring-loaded adapter.
Just fit the HID globe in position, and then push the grommet in behind the globe(like a plug). Once the rubber cover is put back on the H/Light housing, it will keep everything in place.:zlove:

I'm very new to the whole HID thing....

Here is a real newbie question: If I wanted HID's in low, high and fog lights, would you need 6 ballasts?

Ok, I'll try contribute usefully then.

1.) It's against ADR's to replace a halogen kit with a HID kit like this, of any colour bulb. That said, if you aim it properly and set it up right you'll probably never get picked up on it.

2.) Most OEM bulbs are 4300K or 4700K, whichever was the colour hat provided the most lumens output (I forget which). BMW had some special trick to make it appear bluer. Like a marketing thing.

thax ivan....btw i dont think you were wrong in what you said before....saying that it did look like you were aiming it at this guy.....

i feel the same way but you cant do anything.....and for us its better as we get it cheaper but yes i do believe its a little bit unfair...but thats the world...

im talking in a pharmacy point of view......you see many drugs having money poured into research....and all it takes is a "generic cheaper brand to come out" and that companies years of work gone.....but that doesnt effect me...what does is the thought that i may have to compete with coles and wollies if i open up a pharmacy.....a bit unfair i think too....but a little un releated to this whole thread.......

    sorry for the hi-jack:biggrin: ......

thankz man, and this is a grate place.
and i just got myself back form port stephen, went their for a short holiday, but got myself a $200.00 fine because i didn't have a fishing licence when i was fishing LOL:) :)

but anyways, the kit i selling i had been tested for a while, and been sold a while already, i was selling those kit on ebay, and i got a few whole sell customer too, and everyone seems dont call me back for problem with their kits. they only call me if they fd's want some :p

and i can get the even cheaper kit or the more expensive kit too, but i go for the med-price range, and if i am selling some rubbish kit at more cheaper price, i just dont want to waste my time on every customer come back to me and asking for troubles, at the end I won't get any benefit. but wasted my time.

and these HID product been out ages, and for the china company to remake it, mayb at the first time they might make some failed product or evey poor quality product,, then as times goes, they will improve it if they still want to stand in this business industry, if they dont improve, how can they don't close down they business.

and guess what, china is very good at coping product, i bought myself a window vista ultima verions, can fully upgrade with microsoft now, not sure if they annouse next service pack... for only cost me less than $2, and i went to heary norman, they asking for $900+ for ultima version....

This confused me...and intrigued me. China have made a copy of Vista? Like an actual, redeveloped operating system, or do you just mean a cracked version of the original? Not that I'm for pirating software cough cough.

regarding to the color temp, i actually found that different brand will have a different color temp hid kit, for example, some other brand's 6000k is look like my 8000k, i did compair it once.

and just a bit research on the net and i found that:

above 3 chart are from 3 different company. they all look different.

the kit i sell, the color lookz like the last chart, and my 6000k looks like white mix with yellow.

and i only stock 6000k and 8000k ATM.
