Vented front guards? Orrrr, one of those fibreglass hatch tubs which make it look like a Lambo up back

    Mystery Panel!

Im sure you can tell what it is.

The reasoning behind it is this....

I spent a lot of time looking at other zeds (the US ones) and comparing. After contemplating my overall style and theme i decided the 2k style was too "nice" for my aggressive matte finish. The wings west front bar has sharper lines and suits MY zed a lot better. Id put the 2k spec on most other zeds but it just doesn't sit right with me on mine.

Credit to Al(ztoy) for making a really quality bar that has amazing fitment though. The sole reason i took it off was the style, i still highly recommend that bar to anyone.

    Heres the 2 bars.

Started off last week by taking the 2k off:

My mate doing some heavy reo bar modifications lol!

The plan was to leave the bar in its polyurethane state as the colour was so close. I later realised that no...it was not close. I wrapped it yesterday for the cruise today.

    Some pics from the cruise....

edit: Also forgot to mention that i put the stock nose panel back on.

Thanks for all the entertainment provided by guessing :D

I dont actually know what is next for the stealth zed!?!?

Ill be on my opens in 2 weeks so i guess a TT swap will be happening. Im pretty happy with the visual appearance of it now. At some point ill get proper rims and get some real fitment going i spose.

Thats about it...so thanks for reading/follwing and Enjoy!

Looks amazing mate, really improves the look of your car!
No offense to the other members car, but next to his it really shows what Z's can be when a lot of hard work and time are put into them.

Biggies car is great, its super clean. Some lady ran into his front bar and cracked it is all.

    cheers for the praise :)

ah now I see! Completely get what your saying about wanting a more agressive front bar, finish looks great on it your a pro at wrapping now!

My only critisism of the new bar is it doesn't really flow with your skirts, the lower edge flares out but on the skirts it tucks under & the lines dont quite flow. Thats just the designer in me being picky though, it all looks badass.
Really like the contrast between the wheels & body too.

Also nose panel looks eleventy million times better :D

    cheers, tim

    Hey tim,
You are right about the flare. Iv done a lot of designing and graphic art, when something is out i feel almost forced to change it. Thats what happened with this bar. But if you have a look at the Wings West skirts...youl see no flare.
    Like so:

That being said though the reason it looks like that is because the light hits it in such a way that puts emphasis on that curve.

The roundedness of kaminari skirts and rear is what i love the most. They arnt eye grabbers like a front bar is.

Cheers for the kind words and thoughts :)

    Matt..

    Hi Matt,

I'm sorry to say this...but I don't like that wings west front bar on the Stealth Z at all :(...nothing against the WW front bars as I think they look good but it just doesn't suit the lines of your Z.

This is off course just my opinion :), but the way the WW bar flares out at the bottom and the kaminari skirts curve under just really clash in my eyes. The guards also don't look like they line up any where near as good as they did with 2k spec bar...if you could get that looking smick and rid the bar of the flares it would look sweet!

I think that image of the WW skirts you posted wasn't very good at showing them as they dont have the same flair but they do have a slight curve out from the door down that matches in with the front bar.

Otherwise from the front wheels back in the above photo that Briz referenced I am absolutely gob smacked!! The Stealth Z is something to behold and admire, looks sweet as man...you must be insanely proud and happy!

Anyway, I'm not trying to sound negative on what you are obviously really happy with, just felt I had to express my view on it and in the end its your car which you should enjoy as such with your own taste and style

    Cheers,

    Craig

    Hey Craig,

I hear you but...that pic you linked. Those skirts are Stillen i believe:confused::confused: which i dont like at all.

More WW skirts..i see no flare?

Either way im super happy with it and i like the subtleness of the skirts/rear so that all the attention is drawn to the front and the vinyl. I appreciate all the comments and criticisms as it can only make the stealth zed better!

As far as the body goes im now satisfied.

Here is some shock horror news though. At some point in the future i want to revert back to paint and gloss so the stealth Z will be up for grabs, or trades depending on my plans. She wont sit pretty in the police car park or be very welcome at the academy i presume haha.

I think my next Zed will be an aztec red 2+0 TT. Anyone down for a swap?:D:zlove:

It scares me to even think ill be letting it go at some point....

Who knows though, i may end up keeping it forever if the circumstances allow and i find nothing better.

    Matt :)

    Hi Matt,

Your right about them being stillen, google images can be very inaccurate sometimes in what your searching for and I was looking more for what I was trying to show and never noticed  :p....that image of the white Z though shows what I was trying to explain about the WW skirts, that there is still a slight curve out from the doors down that suits far better than the curving under kaminaris...but yeah, enjoy man if that's the way you like it

What's this nonsense though about reverting back to paint and selling her after all that hard work and with her looking so good!?

    Cheers,

    Craig

    Hey Matt
Love the look. Especially like the photo of the two cars side by side ( gloss and matt)
You have done a fantastic job and thanks for the reading material.
    It's been a great journey.

Actually your both wrong, they're not stillen. See how the lower edge drops down at the front end of the skirt, the stillen type 3's dont do that.

If you change your mind about them murci I've got a set here for a 2+2 :D

Bad news about thinking of selling, I doubt there'd be any objections to you driving it if your in the academy you'd just have to make sure the height, etc is legal.

Anyway, again great work & if your thinking of selling get some decent photos taken before you do.

    cheers, Tim
