how much they selling them for? either way they are dodgey, stainless is no harder to weld than mild steel.
manifolds look to be made in a completely different shop to the dumps. bumps look like they were made by a blind person lol. the power gain vs time and room to make equal length manifolds is not worth it i reckon.
probly not, but will be a good challenge for myself i think, could then make up a jig and start producing them, good little side project to make some money im sure there would be alot of zed owners that would want them
^^^ either stainless or mild steel, depending on customer. could get the mild steel ones coated in some sort of heat proof coating, will have to suss out the cost tho
Yer, sure Einstein, I could just imagine competing in a Time Attack in this: Powered by this: Given it wont hook up in 3rd untill way past 130kph in a straight line, (single spinner) @ 8psi, I dont think it would make a particularly good drag car..... no? And so....? Now Hiram, you tell me exactly where I have made a negative comment then? ............Oh dont bother, you cant. Reason? I made a simple observation and a comment based on that observation. How in blazes can that be interpreted as negative??? So, what, do you follow me around the forum looking for negative stuff do you....You claim I always post negatively...... thats just a little weird Z32tt. Furthermore, a fluids handling engineer backed my casual observations up immediately after your useless and unrelated post. Why dont you tell him to suck it up as well then. So how about YOU keep out of what you obviously dont understand eh? Dum-dee-doo-dee-dum-dum-doooo!
bit more welding and put the pipe on for the drivers side mani once i make it Welding is pretty crap as i was going to sand it all and give it a linished finish but im going to heat wrap it instead still need to square the pipe up for the flange to go on but will do that tomorrow.
Looing good, glad you're using Schd 10 and not tube. Hopefully won't have any cracking. That's another good reason to keep away from those fancy coatings, make it hard to fix if it does crack.
hahaha bugger that im going to wrap it for the first couple months to see how it holds up then maybe take it off coat it then sell the whole kit and make another i will be making a twin setup to sell as i dont want twins
Chris if you do make a twin setup...would be it similar to the pics of the other kits available that were posted earlier? Abraham
I'm keen lol...if it would be of good quality and wont crack...plus would be better than the cheaper options, then count me in so basically the same as the pics earlier...but your own version Abraham
more pics fully welded, tacked gate on for something to do thats not the final position. will pickle it up tomorrow to give it a cleaner look. might even sandblast it. Made a start on 3-1 collector hopefully will have that finished tomorrow.
