Went to get the apexi mufflers on but unfortuantly wouldn't fit due to the fact that the inlet to the muffler was too close to the tyre. I could have asked them to chop the tip off and re weld it up the other way but i was over it at that point. In other news i raised the back a bit and took of the VeilSide skirts off. Next on the chopping block is the rear bar and front bar, once i finish the new front bar.
New Rims! After waiting nearly a month to get a reply from bob Jane when the wheels i wanted were going to be in i got quite frustrated and ended up opping for a different set. Lenso D1R 18x8.5 all round, am also going to drop the front a little bit more soon! Let the pictures do the talking
Thanks man, She has indeed, next on plan is to finish the front bar, repaint side skirts and get a stock rear bar (which im picking up from rod)
Update So i finially got off my arse and did something about the ever growing parts pile in the shed, Ive gotten the fog lights put in, and wired up I also fixed my sloppy shifter, Dean (Bracket) can vouch for how bad it was. Turns out the bushings were completely disintegrated, slotted some new ones in and it feels amazing. And also painted my nose panel which i bought well over a year ago! Still need to put some clear on and some mesh. And lastly i got my Z1 Gauge rings that i ordered through CZP last week, makes a huge difference
Nose panel was taken off and painted again as i wasnt 100% happy, clear is getting layed down tonight. Also made my tails into "2k" spec. Not as good as the proper ones but cant complain for $50
Great weather, new pics So I thought I would take the opportunity during Melbourne'S good weather and take some photos. Oh and the nose panel has been cleared, cut backed and polished . Next on the list is finish the front bar. But I've got yr 12 exams so that's on the back burner until this time next month.
I just started reading your thread and I have to say I'm impressed where you've take the car. I imagine that you are working on a budget, and it's impossible to produce a perfect car unless you have unlimited funds. What you have done so far with this car though is commendable, it really is now looking like something worth stopping to take a look at. Great work.
Soo i ditched the veilside today. For this I will eventually paint it, maybe with in the next couple of weeks depending on weather. Very happy with the fitment apart from the fact that it required cutting of the reo bar but none the less it looks 100 times better.
It is thanks was a pain in the arse to get the reo bar to fit though! Oh and what happend to those side skirts
Yeah I never considered the reo bar when I test fitted it as my zed doesn't have one my bad. Oh and the sideskirts were a result of being 2 hours late lol. planned to leave at 8, didn't even get home 'til 9.30, so I kinda rushed a bit. May have been nudging over the speed limit on the way up...\ Was good to meet you mate, and your dad seems like a nice bloke too . Cheers, Jordan.
Haha no worries i got home, washed it, then tried to fit it and went well **** going take longer than I thought All good Dad was getting a bit impatient as always aha
So ahh this happend today.. Which turned into this: Going to wait a few days then lay the clear down, and buff it! :zlove:
