Another Update Bonnet has been re bogged smoothed and re primed. Its now perfect and I am finally happy with it. Give it a few days in the sun to bake the primer on and it will be ready for painting. Fog Light air ducts have been fiberglassed into place and bogged smooth. Looking very schweet Hoping to have both the bonnet and the bar painted by the end of the week. :zlove:
mmm not a fan of the bonnet from that pic...looking forward to the final more smoothed out version....should look tops al, good work
lol, eric ... a bit like the "Blues" after their thrashing by Sydney ..... rough and unfinished .... lol...
lmao...thrashing???? was 12 points (two goals). did you watch the game? 12 points is nowhere near a thrashing...i think your just sore that the pies lost by 1 point....
I dunno! It's getting done down the Gold Coast It's a long way to drive for a lookeesee I haven't done anything to the zed except for redoing the exhaust. Sits nice and high now Uni is back now, so even less free time I've got exhaust leaks in the extractors too I will have to live with them until the engine comes out next though. I should have leak tested them... I think that is causing my 'missfire'. I think it's just pops in the exhaust rather than a actual problem. Also got my new ECU from USA. Better not fry this one
Second hand one. I don't want to think what a new one from Infiniti would cost Had to get it from the states, they just aren't for sale over here.
You're not looking in the right spots thats all. But i can only imagine the buy price from the states is far better then our thieving jap wreckers.
Latest Update. Everything is painted and drying. Colour is very close to the sample the Chrispy gave me. We may have to blend the colour on the front guards but will have to see what it looks like on the car. Thanks to 2ThumbsUp for his help blocking back the bar this morning. It is actually red its just the fluro's that make it look orange
Bonnet was designed for function more than form on a tight deadline. Chris gave me dimensions of a hole and the height it had to clear and I went from there.
Ztoy, bloody excellent craftsmanship and painting! Love the front bar with the moulded powertrix intake!
