Dyno Run Here is a picture and result from our recent dyno test. 98 Octane Fuel still running in, more to come.
thats Australias most awesome sleeper WTF!!!!! with those wheels and probably tyres I would never get in that car with that power lol!
Yep Sleeper New 16 inch tyres to go on it, stayiing with 16's for now although they won't last and stock brakes.
We ran the car on the dyno again today to check it and also change the sensitivity on the boost controllor which worked and it's a lot smoother.
Stock brakes??? 50 billion dollar build and stock brakes?? Unreal car but.... stock brakes??? srs?? stock?
Amazing power! But I wouldn't want to drive it with the stock shitty brakes on. Not to mention 0 traction with the 16's on aswell. IMO it needs monster brakes and 18's with wide arse tyres to finish off this puppy.
Yes Not ideal but in time the owner will get these, I hope. The gear box should handle it as doesn't have an aggressive twin plate. It has a strong single plate.
We know that the 300z has a strong box but isn't 400+ rwkw pushing it? If he shifts hard or has a aggressive driving style I don't think that the gearbox will last. And don't tell me that his going to be sedate.. 400+ rwkw.. His bound to "test" it, I would... Alot! Lol.
Should be ok, I ran stock gear box for years, circuit, drift and drag with 456rwkw at the drags, it survied for years before going to PPG dog box for faster gear change. Light car but a lot more punishment than a road car and sticky drag tyres and semi slicks for the track. It did have a fuse though with the clutch, which also lasted for years to as it was air cooled.
Alll good. This car is a late model, 95 I think so has the better synchros and selector gate. Also has Redline Shockproof gear oil, which also helps longevity as well as gear changes.
With the "stock shitty brakes" what happens if you push down hard on the pedal? Even from insane speeds? L8r E
Don't do insane speeds I guess. Before he comes to a track day I strongly suggest he upgrades his brakes.
stock brakes with good pads will pull you up from an insane speed .... but only once do it again straight after and the wall will help you stop
