Believe me, I've been trying. After 4 solid hours spent working on the Z today, all I can say is this:

Martin, are you going to try to swap the turbos before Zedfest, or just leave the ones that it has now in?

I was going to try and do the engine pull before zed fest but CZP and Z1 have a 2 week delay on the turbo kit I'm buying, so I'm attempting to fit the new dumps to the current turbos so I can get the rest of the exhaust welded up. Soon as that's done I'll go for blue slip, and drive there on the current turbos.

We are thus far unsuccessful! Going to buy some more spanners to "modify" to suit the needs...

With the lowered car and the mods I'd be intrested to see the "repair" list from the blue slip.
    Is yours an Aus spec?

I've got a "good" blue slip guy lined up.

That said, I'll be fully raising the coilovers and putting stockies on when I go :p
    Yes, I am sure.

What turbos will you be running later on to suit 4 bolt dumps?

    In other news...

    Twin intakes are done!

I picked up two 2.5" 75* bend pieces of pipework from a Sydney exhaust shop. Took them home, measured them up and trimmed off (a lot) of excess length that would've left the pods trailing on the road, haha.

I then went through K&N's lengthy pod filter list for a 2.5" outlet, rubber tipped 6" filter:

    http://www.knfilters.com/search/univcone.aspx

I ended up nabbing a pair for just $40 each from eBay. Gave the pipes a lick of black rattle can and fitted them up. Sorry for the bad photos, car's on stands while we tackle the dumps. When it's on the ground I'll bang the headlights back in and get some real photos.

From behind the radiator, so you can see the pipes, both going to the cooler and pods.. Or just what you can see?

    Update on Rear Panel Re-Do:

This is what I mean by clamping it and using the screws to keep it in place.
While it was difficult the panel is nearly 100% flush. Pokes about 1mm~ but I'm sure If I did it again I could get it clamped 100% flush.
Can't notice it unless your looking for it though.

Also If you don't want water and dust filtering into the panel use that Nissan black goo sealant and seal around the lock hole.
    In that hole.

That's every bit of advice I can think of from working on these god damn panels.
