    Also how

is the rear defuser attached to a stock rear bar?

The answer to your question is right in the post you quoted - no, it's all sikaflex.

Sika is used in OEM applications (Mitsubishi starion comes to mind) so can't be all bad.

For that matter some ute bodies (canopies) are assembled using Sika.

Nothing's going to fly off if done right..

The wing is hollow, not like stock.

    so

your saying its lighter and could possibly get launched to 300ft in the air, unlike the stock wing which is heavier and would only make 150ft if it wasn't screwed down. :D

Got any idea how the bolt on rear defuser is attached, I'd be pissed of if it didn't require at least two tubes of sikaflex, its the real deal that stuff, happy landings.

Does the 'bolt on' rear difuser literally mean 'bolt on'?

now why would they call it bolt on :p ...sure there are more in the middle you cant see ..

As far as sikaflex strength is concerned ..no problem (applied correctly)especially on a lighter product.. only a stanley blade will get it off.

    Since your

an authority on it, and the Peruvians cant be fkd showing just exactly how this thing is attached, yeah i saw the tabs, maybe you could show prospective buyers just how its done, especially the center section.

I'm no authority ..just pointing out that it is bolt on as alot were asking ..

but already having one of their rear bars on ..I would be fairly sure that they have designed the mounting points in suitable locations whether it requires drilling into bar and/or existing mounting points .

And to anyone purchasing this I would recommend continuing it to the diff to eliminate the parachute effect it can cause in the rear bar

Good point, as that was my next question, I assume its the same for your full bar with defuser, What did you do, if anything?

Havent done anything yet ..but will make something out of an aluminium sheet that screws on to the diffuser and diff cross member.

Guessing you can't make a one size fits all piece as it gets cut around the exhaust pipes and not everyone has the same .

Do we have an approximate time-frame or schedule for this yet, by the way?

Hi, not sure if you'll hear from John as they are closed 23/12 to 9/1.

As far as timeframe JP needs to fill a minimumo order of twenty so needs a few more ***'s before thinking about payments etc.

Oh and please forgive my use of the forbidden acronym

Ahh, fair enough. More importantly, what if we don't hit 20 people? It honestly isn't looking very promising...
