Gavin something screwy with the drawings.

These drawings with widths. The ST102 which is 2667 wide ( I assume its the parking lift ) is a 4 poster but the part number is for a 2 post lift.

Can you confirm the parking lift is the one that is 2667mm wide?

Its looking like this will fit in so I will check and confirm my order tomorrow. ;)

Can you PM me the early order price you offered in the first post?

The lift was ST122, my bad, thanks for picking that up. The parking lift is the 2667mm wide one.
    Will send pm.

Hey Graham - something to consider - if you use the lift to park cars in the garage you need to take care no fluids drip onto the car below? I saw a lift that had a full metal tray below the raised car - but had removable sections to allow mechanical work to be done from below when required! - I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to fabricate something similar??......but then again knowing how fastidious yo are your cars probably don't drip fluids! ;)

And what about the ceiling height?......wouldn't you need something like 3m floor to ceiling to have enough space to park 2 cars under each other?

You actually get the drip trays with the hoist according to the comments under the lift picture. So all is good there.

I have over 20 foot high ceilings in my garage, but I may have to change my tilta door to a segmented door.

But its still cheaper than moving cause you dont have enough garage space. :D

This may count me out... mine is 4.4" (100mm) as it's only a colourbond garage.

Thanks for providing info none the less, greatly appreciated.

Easy fix Rob, a jack hammer, crow bar, shovel and some uber good concrete to fill the hole will do the job. This is what I will likely do with mine.

To be honest our floor is about that thickness and I have had no problems... I think if your concrete is good quality and the ground underneath is ok you have no problems.

The old factory I rented when i was doing car repairs only had a 4 inch floor. No issue with anything we had in there including the 3 ton brake press.

4 inch floor in plenty enough for a hoist Rob.

    Pricing and order details

    Hi DinoZ,
Thanks for locking in, I have asked the moderators about the best way to handle your payment, I need the committment but do not want money in my account until your satisfied. I want to ensure my reputation and LadyZ's is maintained above the money side if that makes sense.

I will let you know when we get that sorted and I confirm with the supplier on the shipment details.

I will likely need to confirm the list of confirmed purchasers to finalize the costs, I anticipate that to take place at the end of the next week.

On the freight side, I have had discussions with folks across different states and figure that Zedders will know of freight company we make a deal with that could do a milk run / group deal after the container arrives. We can negotiate a rate that is better as a group than individually.

    Status update

    Hi guys,

A quick status update. I ran into a hurdle with the arrangments for the ST100 101 and 104 lifts, as I was arranging this thread another guy has put together a deal for exclusive rights on these lifts for a period of time, the supplier is honouring this agreement which is good in that they stick by their word but bad in that it makes it harder for me in the short term.

I am discussing how I can deliver equivalent lifts without interfering with this arrangement, at this stage options are to provide some other lifts that they have, a better price on other lifts or an arrangement with the person that got the exclusive deal in place.

As soon as I have a next step worked out with the supplier I will let you know.

I have a set of hoists arranged now and will be posting pics this week. I can either bring out all at once or do a sample like I did last time.
I took some time to find a hoist closest to what I had up before.
Once I put the pics / specs up I will pose the question of whether we bring out as one group buy or get a sample one out.
    Sorry for the delay guys.

I am still pretty keen on the parking 4 post hoist. Its narrow enough to fit in my garage

Update: Supplier located, Prices set, pics posted, finalizing specs ...

Sorry for the delay, this stuff just takes time.

I have uploaded the new product listings with the current versions of ST100, ST102, ST104, ST122 units.

I did look at just getting the other importer with agreement to supply ST100,102 and 104 units but they are about 700+ bucks more.

As you know I can still source the original ST122 and other units but I think I should just get them all from one place as it saves on excess shipping. I have presented the ST122E unit which is equivalent from the new supplier. Let me know what you think please.

I still have a few more questions to be answered by the supplier (same stuff I asked last time, eg what the internals are, saftey locks, etc compared to current lifts etc).

Those of you that have expressed interest in these items please let me know if you are still interested as I have to work out shipment options again.

Also let me know if you think that we should bring out one single item to review again or bring them all out in one hit. The source is the same guy and we sourced as close to the original version as possible.

On pricing I expect to be close to what I advised so I left the prices as is.
Hope for the exchange rate to go up and a few people get in on the group buy..

If you have any questions just let me know,

    Gavan

The exchange rate dropped another whopping 5 cents overnight, thats 10 cents in a few days... I thought it would stabilize and go back up.
We will have to wait till it goes back to keep the prices at the level presented...

Considering this the plan is that those interested continue to confirm the specs and quantity then we confirm the final price.
Hoping that this will be back up to 90 cents shortly and we wont have any change. Otherwise as a group we can elect to go with a lower exchange rate...
