With my a/c controls, when I first turn it on and set the controls to "recirculate", it reverts to "fresh" after 15 minutes, but if I then reset to "recirculate" it holds that setting for the rest of the trip (until the motor is restarted).

... we should compare the part no on yr's or swap over to test? Cresta have a heap of different AC-amps in stock so I may be able to solve this annoyance in due course.

I wonder if this was an 'option' in Japan depending on original delivery locale? Or just a gradual upgrade?
