Yeah...the problem with 99% of GT-style wings out there which are "universal" fit?? They are too short, or narrow, or whatever...

You want a wing to extend the entire width of a car, so for the zed your looking for between 1650 and 1700 wide...and then that would like kinda awesome.

Oh and put my down for a stern dis-like on the skyrine wing. It's like when ripley mated with the alien...it's offspring was just fkd up.

Hmmmmmm... I gotta say that wing does look awful. To me it just seems like its bolted on and doesn't fit the car at all. I'd say ditch the wind all together and keep the stock wing... Or maybe go brazilian with the 94+ model wing...

I'm on the fence with this one.

I do agree it's a bit busy but then again 2+2s need bigger wings and while the R34 GTT wing is nice on a stubby 2 seater with a brazillian, on a 2+2 even with a braz it's going to look too small so keeping the stocker adds a bit more to the look.

If you like it, that's all that matters. I don't think it matters too much either way.

I thought more people would be too, but there's a lot of strong 'unlike' out there!

No, I do like it - I must see it differently to most  - but seeing as many people wouldn't have seen it done before, wanted to get their opinion. Most people seem to be telling me there's a reason it hasn't been done before.... ;)

I'm sure I could get some more 'likes' on www.boostcruising.com , but I'm not THAT desperate for approval...

Personally, i'd lose the dual-wing look.

The dual wing has been done before, check out TQE...s thread in the builds section, I think he copped the same amount of hate for the ford wing. (possibly why he was your main supporter). I'll admit that looked pretty nice in person, especially from the rear and pics alone don't get the whole picture.

Sorry dude. Not a fan. Just feels wrong. Having it with a Brazilian even feels wrong. However it only looks bad from the absolute rear. Every other angle its just getting pulled off. With the twin wing look, it looks bastardized.

Id be keen to see someone photo shop your car with having it extended as mentioned by others. Than it would be something worth reevaluating.

But in the infinite end. Its your car. Do as you please.

It is a very tidy example. And much love to the black.

It certainly doesn't stand out THAT much as at appears in the pics, much closer to the spoiler than the 'from above' shots - certainly no shopping trolley wing!

Cheers, and thanks to others who've found something nice to say about my Z, even if you don't dig the wing. ;) Next step. polished rims (still deciding what to do with bolts.... http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=309034 ), black powdercoated plenum and engine bay tidy-up, as pointed out by OZX_320. And MAYBE.... *deep breath* Veilside sideskirts....

Found something?? Dude you have a beautiful Z all round. It was very sleek and clean looking but you have ruined the ass end. Now you're considering the worst possible choice of skirts for a sleek car and no offense, but you are RUINING the sexiness of it.

It IS your car, but if you truly didn't care about what others think (bullshit, we all do) you wouldn't ask for opinions. So yeah... My opinion only I guess... But I wont hesitate taking back my compliments if you uglify your own car lol.

No offense taken Elie - you wouldn't be yourself if you didn't speak your mind. But relax, strike-through for Veilside sideskirts, would rather wait for Bomex, Stillen Style III or something like that. :) Just got tempted by a bargain, that's all.... :p

Can't wait for my old mate Baron to find this thread and speak his mind... lol

Sorry to say but not a fan either, the rear now looks too busy with two wings and i dont think the R34 spoiler flows well with the 300zx at all, brazillian or not.

You can see below how it flows with the R34, just doesnt do it on a Z, totally different shaped cars...

the R34 GTR wing is actually much nicer on a Z than the GTT wing. mainly because it's more rounded to suit our cars. still, it's just not wide enough.

I've gotta say i do like this alot better than with the stock wing. And yeh maybe if it was a bit longer to fill out the rear end a bit, but other than that I like it :)
