Hmm... I'm definitely a dumb ass coz I still don't really get what you mean by a lock without a key..?

So if you're getting J-spec ones does that mean you're not getting them until next year?

 

Very Keen for a drivers side

I'm very keen for a drivers side and more than happy to wait till 07 for a Jap Spec without the lock barrel which is what i would prefer

 

I'm in for both lefthand and righthand sides please.

I think what he means is they come with the lock but no key for the lock. Hence you would not actually be able to use the lock. its just there as thats how they come.

if he get the jap ones it wont matter anyways...

 

ooooohhhhh I get it now!! Thanks BuzZED. So it basically works the same way as the glove box then, except it obviously would need a different key meaning you can't actually use the lock.

I will be ordering new stock to hopefully arrive here March/April '07.
Trying to get anything before hand with xmas and all is just not going to happen

damn, all I need is the drivers side plastic bit! Dunno if I wanna pay $90 for it though

 

All you guys that are buying new trims. I can't get the coupe version apparently according to John.

But all I need are the plastic bins behind the handles. If you guys are gettin new ones can I have your old plastic bits? That will mean I can fix mine up.

How much do you get with this trim?

My vinyl is peeling off, and has revealed rusty metal underneath?

I was going to peel it off, and sand it back, and then retrim the vinyl.

does the new trim include the metal backing? because if it does then I'd be better off buying these trims

On closer inspection, It is plastic behind the vinyl trim. and the brown stuff must be glue.
