NEW TARGA TRIM

I can get new 2+2 inner targa trims with the plastic insert behind the lever locally if I buy a shipload of them. Charcoal only (no blue)

These sell for $98
If I get an order of 10 or more(L or R) I can do them for $86 inc GST.

Failing that, I can bring some in early '07 for around $79 each.

These are only available for 2+2.
They are no longer made for the 2 seater.

Express you interest here if you want now or can wait til '07 (March/April - ish.)

Remember, these come WITH the plastic insert behind the opening lever.

Hi John. Would you have any damaged ones but with the plastic insert intact or do we need to buy the whole thing and thus this group buy on these. I was after the drivers side 2+2 plastic insert.

Let me know when to pay and how much. I need both drivers and passenger side (for different reasons).

Hey Bruce, nah I only have one insert here that I have put aside for Tecktrader and that is my last and only one.
That's the main reason I thought I'd bring some in.

Yes, I'm only after the insert too, passenger side though. The rest of my targa trim is alright. That and I don't really want to pay $90 for a little bit of plastic, might try and fix my old one

Im in now or next year, whenever it goes ahead. i was gonna recover mine but i need a new end cap and two new plastic inserts so the whole lot for that price will be sweet. Ill keep monitoring the post to see when its gonna happen. Definately in.

 

John, are they locking targas (aus-spec) that you are getting, or

the j-spec which I believe don't have a lock.

ex Japan will be jspec ones but if I get the local ones they will be the aus spec type.

 

Does anybody have any pics of the aus spec one? Is that would be available immediately? and the Jap spec next year?

the oz spec ones are the ones available now.
They are the same but with a barrel lock (no key)

 

Pardon my ignorance, but I don't really get what you mean by a barrel lock without a key? How does the lock work?

The lock works just like your door. You can lock the lever so no one can open the targa. The key does not come with the lock though.

I will more than likely get all these from JP anyway so don't worry yourself about the lock.
