Hurray great news.

new engine is paid for. Now just awaiting shipping. Then I will be in sunny Thailand with Bryan works away on putting some life back into my Zed.

Good times ahead fingers crossed

 

it's been a little while.

received my new engine today thanks to sevenangrypenguins.

Cleaning everything up so I can send it and the 300 down to Brytech ASAP then I'm setting off to thailand to relax while it gets finished off

Got some sweet carbon fibre parts to tack around the car too..

 

What CF parts did you get? Ive got a few on my zed already...spoiler, air guide and nose panel

Wow its quite in here....here's why....

Now i'm not trying to fuel anything here i'm just giving an update on my situation.

Car went to Brytech, I went on holidays. stayed down there for just over a month

I got the car back running like a tractor, and this has since not been rectified (add another month) so I am pursuing higher means (consumer affairs)

Most likely going to part the car out unless something drastic happens as this has pissed me off on top of the headaches we had which I didn't need.

 

What is wrong with it? Engine buggered or car issues?

 

Wont idle splutters blows smoke leaks fluid exhaust leaks

 

have you given it a boost leak test.

what did bryen do to it while it was there .

 

I'm not touching it so I havent tested it

He changed the engine for me plus odds and ends

 

you know 100% that this engine was running well ?.

Sounds like you need a forum member to come sus it out. Probably is the most smallest thing..

Don't give up mate, i know that is a good engine. Sounds like you have a few minor issues all adding up to give you the shits. Stick with it and slowly work through things. Feel free to send me a pm if you like, happy to help sort it out, if not there are plenty of guys down your way to get you sorted.

 

I paid someone to sort the problems out all they did was cause me another problem
