Decided i'd make a thread containing a couple of photo's of my Z at it's all time low, then update it in the next few weeks with photo's of improvements. Con's: - One of the injectors is absolutely rooted. Plenum pull and water pipe bypass is to be done tomorrow. 6 new injectors and new PCV hoses will be fitted. Should roughly a 6hr job considering the plenum hasn't be pulled before. - As you can see, the front bumper is in terrible shape. Had a minor crack in it when I first bought it a couple of months ago, went to get a blue slip and the mechanic insisted that the drive it onto the hoist. CRACK, snapped clean in half.. $450 later I had it repaired only to a few days later have it crack once again (in the same spot). Decided to repair it again for $150. About a month or two ago the bumper cracked once again and put it back into the state that it currently is in. Not even going to bother with it anymore. Intending on buying a 2k spec bumper in the coming weeks! (if anyone wants a cracked bumper, let me know ) - The disgusting rims that I hope to replace with Koya Inox R1's (Last on my to do list) - Stereo has shit itself, just need to book the car into JB to have them fit the stereo I bought. Pro's: - Fairly clean car - Condition of the paint isn't too bad considering it's age - Recently had some upholstery work done on the car and is looking fairly good on the inside. Without any damage to the front bar: Just a few photo's I took before I lost what was left of todays sun. I'll get some more shots tomorrow... You might be better off going somewhere other then JB for installs last i seen they were pretty pricey might not be all of them tho idk.
I said the exact same thing to him when he pulled up! He pulled out a black shirt and said he had that to chance into... Long story cut short, he never did haha. Sinyster, I got quoted around $130 for my installation.
That sounds reasonable depending on what your getting done my friend was quoted $250 by them to put in a new head unit and 4 new speakers into the factory mounts
I just asked for my stereo to be installed and an ipod cable run into the glovebox or something. I'm happy to pay that unless someone else can do it cheaper

And I have a tip for young players: Don't try to cut off a nissan spring clamp with your expensive new sidecutters. Cutting spring steel with tool steel will break the tip off your pliers.
