Saw your wheels! Hey mrTT, I went with Mark to drop off his Z this morn - spotted your Z up on the stands in Colin's w/shop - it really stands out! Nice wheels!
Hehhe hi capt Glad to hear your enjoying the Z, its a great car, and pretty soon you'll get bitten by the mod bug like the rest of us.Might see you on sat :YD
might see some better power figures this time. I got up to 1.32bar last night by mistake (set duty time to high) and boy was that fun trying to change gears at that boost@7500rpm in third gear.
^D^Where do u find room to get up to 179KPH in 3rd gear around suburban Brisbane Chewy!?!?! [image]http://members.optusnet.com.au/markfield/mandance.gif[/image]
the wheels might have been doing 179kph but the car was only doing 100km/hr I can get wheel spin from 5000rpm onwards as it's already over 1bar boost by then.
Isn't that a normal speed around ... ... your way?It will be soon if you hang about with us lot.
undecided, its due for its 100K service :`( 97800, SNIFF, my baby's gettin on %( Im not really giving it much at the moment, and being an 89 with its original timing belt (I presume) a snap at 7000 rpm on the dyno would be nasty. 8(
Why does it matter??? with all that money, you could just buy another engine or do a monster rebuild..
heheh Im spending all my engine money though on that NSX thingo remember, If my engine blew I might have to cut down on takeaway food for the week, now that would be tragic :-0 naaa the whole reason for another car is because I can't do without the Z, for the periods of time needed for engine work, paint, ect, if the engine blew I'd be carless for quite a while.Although I do own a couple of silvias, but thats a different story
