First up a big thanks to Juggernaut/Matt for selling it to me... and Colin Brodie for the inspection, etc...! Oh, and everyone else who gave me bits and pieces of info along the way... and the odd ride (cheers MikeZ).Ah I just can't believe it! It's been soooo long coming and it's finally here. I racked up about 100kms last night but it still hasn't hit me... Got it in the Colins workshop now for the 100,000km service and a few other odds and ends, give it a good spring clean when it comes out, then the real fun begins!Don't have any pics yet, but will post some as soon as I do - although if Juggernaut posted some in the past then you may already know what it looks like.Hopefully see some of you at the Dyno Day on Saturday!Cheers, Mark
Congratulations Mark I think it was that spin in my Zed a few weeks ago which made you buy one ASAP. Well that's what I like to think anyway!Looking forward to having you on future cruises. What's this about a Dyno Day on Saturday?
Was told by Colin and his crew... ...this morning that the Dyno Day will be on the 24th of this month, which is Saturday. Not sure what the start time is though.Actually I thought it may have been already mentioned in the forums somewhere.
congrats Mark so did you see my car at Colin's work shop, enjoy the 300 and welcome to the best car club around:-Z :YD
Sure did... ...up on the hoist, rear wheels and suspension off if I remember correctly. Looked like a fair bit of 'fuss' was being made over it!
Welcome aboard! My zed is sharing Colin's workshop with yours right now getting a manual conversion amongst a thousand other things !!! See you on the streets of Brisbane and at the dyno day if it's on Saturday?^D^
My friend just got a Z!!! Ahhh! My best mate (Captain Mark) just got a Z last nite! You woulda all heard about it in his post by now tho!Joined him to pick it up & have a drool... I can tell you he had a stupid grin on his face ALL nite! (so did I! hehe) Cruising through the city with the lids off - what a dream! He's been dreaming of this moment for as long as I can remember - so happy for him!! (& envious of such a fine ride!! lol)Congrats mate!My turn next!
I'd prefer to get in early at the dyno and then out to the track after that. I want to check my a/f ratios at 15psi.
