Upcoming jobs Got quite a few things in the works right now so heres a little breakdown. Firstly i have the JECS 750cc injectors and upper plenum gasket coming from CZP. I plan to do the push and pull in 2 weekends time. Ill do it alone unless someone wants to come down for some overseeing. Once those injectors are in ill need a new chip. I found out (by texting previous owner) that the ECU is actually socketed (i knew it was chipped already). So i have got a tune lined up which has been changed to suit 750's. Then John (brisz) has an eprom burner and will get that baby onto a chip for me so i can slot it in. I also found out that all the under plenum hoses have been replaced as well as EGR delete. Also looking at a new intercooler hose kit in black. Trying to source orange hoses for everything and get some hose management sorted for a more neat look. Might put all the aftermarket sensor wires through an orange hose too. Balance tube should be painted black/orange. Lid of the brake fluid cyl in orange. Anyway, cant post without a pic or 2 lol. A few more from the other day. Matt
FPCU... UNbypass After talking/searching/tech articling for a night i found out all i needed to know about the FPCU and how/why it is bypassed. It turns out my FPCU had been bypassed by the previous owner causing a loud whine from the fuel pump all the time. I saw the tech article on how to bypass the FPCU at its locations so i poped open the rear panels and couldnt see any evidence of a grounding wire. Opened up the fuel pump access point and found it (see below). Snipped and taped up for now. Zed seems to run fine now so thats good. Starts up real nice too. Plenum Pull scheduled for the 19th and 20th, wouldnt mind having someone over to lend a hand but i should be ok alone. A good learning experience. Matt
Picked up a roof wing the other day. Can't get it on until I get home though. I'm in Melbourne now until this Friday. Then hopefully that plenum pull on sat/sun.. Matt

Matt im in Bundoora 3083...so if you want to visit feel free to come by Would love to meet another zed owner Abraham
I got my wing from Al, sprayed in KH2 gunmetal again. Looks pretty good and i cant wait to test fit it. Bought a few thigns while i was away which ill get pics of when im home and have them in my hands. Also found a a set of Tein HR Coilovers on Yahoo Japan which i purchased but have to come by sea which will take 6-9 weeks apparently. Im stuck up north too so i wont be able to plenum pull til thursday....
Plenum Pull #1 Number 1 because i think there will be more in the future lol. This one was in preparation for the 750cc injectors. I got home late on sunday and was all setup by 4. It took me roughly 2 hours to get the plenum off. I had roughly 0 idea of what i was doing but i didnt get stuck and learnt a lot which is good. Heres my work area, laptop with techguide and video is a staple. My hands were greasy as so i didnt pickup the camera until the plenum was off. I also labelled every single hose and pipe i disconnected which was somewhat time consuming. Heres the plenum off. Whats that? Oh what up vinyl, making an appearance as always. I swear buying that vinyl was the best life decision iv ever made. Its covering my rear wiper arm hole, my roof bars and even my friends car has some matts own vinyl lol. Plenum with throttle bodies and linkage on. This is where is got hard. I first tried one of those star tools in the holes and it slipped, not sure why i had stuck in my head that they were those but i found out they were just 6mm allen key holes (thanks chris). I pulled them all out bar the last one. This is why. The marks on the outside are from the tool they used at the shop to get it off i presume (my old man took it down while i was at work). So heres the fully disassembled plenum ready for a clean and powder coat. Tonight i also got 2 of the silicone hoses on and tightened them with the air gun. I forgot how good air is, doing things by hand is a PITA. I have so much shit in the mail waiting to come. T5 amber LEDs for pods Orange vac hose kit clock from simon (cheers mate!) 750 injec's upper plenum gasket chip for my ecu Matt.
