Dave asked a while ago for some people to help out with getting a pair purchased so he could start the process. Maybe if those above are interested, sent him a PM he could start getting the ball rolling?
Be careful . The '99 high beam reflectors and the other model years arent the same size!!! You will end up with a big hole around your high beam reflectors. Just a note to let you know. Im still working on inserts for the other model years that will match up to them.
The inserts planned here are designed for the older model years and will fit properly, they aren't moulded off the real 99 spec headlights. So there shouldn't be much need to worry about that.
...guys i dont see what the fuss is about these things?? Whats so good about them? Is it the fact they came on the 99 model that has everyone wanting them? Coz i dont think they look any good at all?
All a matter of personal taste, i think it looks good, so i'd buy one. would be pretty uninspiring if all our cars were the same colour and looks exactly the same.
I didn't really like them until I saw the Top Gear episode with the red zed in it. Since then I've come around. I like the look of the old headlights as well, but theres something about the inserts looks more 'integrated', for want of a better word. It looks like Nissan took care to design something, rather than just putting a bit of glass over a projector lamp and a high beam reflector. Again, I love the look of the old style....but something about the newer style looks more 'friendly'.
