I really need to get my build thread up! haha ummm. just fitted the coilovers and camber arms/tension rods, now I've got a fair bit of debt to pay off so it's sitting. fitting the new exhaust! first and foremost is rego though, and ordering my custom plates... then get some back tyres, roll the guards, order adapter spacers for the rears and redrill the fronts, then slam on the rims i've had in my bedroom for like, 10 months now. then a new radiator so I can fit the FMIC I've got lying around. but before that, i need an ecutalk to monitor temps. then an EBC probably, and around that time I'll need to find myself a bucket seat. sound system needs to be done too... and a few tweaks in the interior (new boots, etc). ecu + dynotune. and a miniature brake overhaul with slotted and cross-drilled rotors and green stuff pads. you get the idea! haha. the devil is in the detail, like the aus-spec corners. last step will be selling the bike to help cover a full respray. where did you get your headlight inserts? Got an idea, but i'll need a pair to work with before I can go ahead with it.
Yeah get that build thread up already dude, sounds good. Or maybe just merge it into mine, pretty much the same car What are you doing w/ tyre sizes ?
Fronts are 18 x 9.5 +22 w/ 235/40/18's, rears 19 x 10 +38 w/265/30/19's. both getting spacers! 16 for the rear, not sure for fronts yet.
Hey Mike, looking good mate. Keen to see some more pics! Glad to see the old girl is getting all the attention she deserves.
Hey cheers Ross ! ALL of my attention has been focused on her since day one, pissing some people off for months Here is an up to date pic, pre-coilovers, pre-tint, pre-lower-tyre-profile-up-front & pre-wash ! All coming this week
Update time : - HKS Hiper D Coilovers fitted - Front & rear guards rolled - Ultrex front Strut Brace - New twin 3" Muffler tips - New Boot carpet w/ t-top straps - 28 LED SMD parkers - Calipers now alloy coloured
I like the wheels, the spoke design will allow for big brakes. I would have gone 18" on the front too, 17" look too small.
Sure are, these wheels were carried over from my Soarer which pulled the look off (in my opinion) being such a long car + w/ some low.
Abraham, just myself, heat gun & trusty rubber mallet. Ideally on both occasions w/ either of my cars a guard roller would of been nicer, but w/ some steadiness the results can still end up positive w/ minimal paint cracking & a decently flat lip.
