Hi guys, thought id post up my newest build thread.
Last time i did this my zed was a black "stocky", gettin Black beasts gt2871r high flows wacked on and all the usual 100k service gear done etc. That was about 3yrs ago now. Since then it hasnt missed a beat and is goin strong at close to 500hp with full spool @ 4200rpm, been resprayed blue and had some pannel beating done here and there when its come off the road to hit mulch piles etc :D.

Any way, works finally picked up a bit and i can finally afford to forge it to prevent engine hassles later on down the track when i might not be able to afford repairs. Iv been doing more and more drift/trackwork in it so it will give me good piece of mind knowing its not a stock motor gettin flogged each time.

Anyway, enough writing and more pics... here are my latest purchases from Coz that were payed for less than a week ago and already on my door step. ( Coz never dissapoints)

Don't know why, but your zed is stupidly tough, like way more than it should be. I should hate it...

    But I love it.

    wrapping exhaust

    haha cheers, mate.

Ok, so today i decided to wrap the front part of my exhaust while its off the car. Its Been getting stinkin hot in the foot well ever since iv upgraded to the toyz 3'' dumps and full 3 inch system. I wrapped the front half of the test pipes and left 1.5m or so of wrap for the dumps themselves that i can wrap once the engine is out.

Soaked wrap in water to make it easier to use

    one side done wrapped

    both sides done

    left over wrap for dumps

hopefully this solves the bloody heat problem. Bloody annoying wen even on a 20deg day ur sweatin like mad after a 5-10 min run on the track

Ah no shit, il look into it. Will be good to put up there with engine etc out of the way. Just glue on stuff ay?

    Anti 14.7 x 14.7 = 44.1

ah yeah, just looking at it on ebay, you reckon 12'' square will be enough? only really concerned about foot well so thinkin just taping it above the dump there

    Anti 14.7 x 14.7 = 44.1

The cheapest way to get it is in the 2" rolls, least amount of money per square foot

Get a roll, use as much as you need, once you have some you'll find lots of places to put it

Ok, iv decided to gas flow and port the heads myself. Turns out my missis old man has all the tools and equipment required for the job. He use to work at an engine building joint and has done it quite a few times himself.

Iv also had some new parts arrive today
