the camshaft and front crank seal were changed, but the old seals were so hard that they grooved the cams so its possible that they are leaking from there again. The proper fix would be new cams, it may be possible though to modify the seals a bit so they sit on a new part of the cam.
If you only drained a litre of oil out of it Sean. I would give you about $1 for your engine. They dont like having bearings unlubed for any time at all. Get ready for the death rattle sometime soon.
