This isn't a GB. If you let me know you want a set I'll make one up. Will take a week or so (well, I'd do it on the weekend and send it off then).

    Hey Rob,

The only blue cable I've been able to find is off ebay and I have no idea if it's copper. If you want it in black, I can do that easy. Else does anyone else know where I could buy blue copper power cable (8 ga.)? I've tried altronics, jaycars, bunnings and a few audio shops.

Actually, for all the connectors and wire it's a little more than that. I use about 2.5 - 3m of cable and 10 connecters (since Rob want's connecters on all ends), plus a bit of heat shrink on the ends to make it looks professional and theres the work involved in soldering all ends, crimping etc and mailing it out costs a little too.

I personally think $50 delivered is a fair price, especially if you have to buy the tools to DIY and/or compare it to eBay prices.

yep, i thought it was very simular to robo's kit which is indeed very nice,
i think $50 is nice considering the time vbevan takes to make them

    Thankyou :D

Plus postage is included there so really getting less than $50. These only have a tiny bit of profit in there for me, considering the time it takes to make it's not worth doing but I like helping people out.

The longest part for me is stripping the ends of the wire. I have to use a Stanley knife and go slow so as not to cut the wire. Can't find anything out there to strip 8 ga. wire quickly. :(

yea thats what i was saying,
have you tried tandy? i saw some strippers there..

perhaps if your making a profit, may be an idea to put it into for sale by businesses, even though your not a business..

Honestly, the profit being made here is enough to cover my effort walking to the post office just :p

In all seriousness though, if anyone wants this moved to FSBB then PM a mod, not sure where this should go actually. It's not to make me money really, it's more to help out fellow Z owners with a supercheap earth kit. I just rounded it to $50 to make it easier to be honest.

No, I can easily include ring ends on all ends. However, if your terminals are like mine, it's easier to connect it with the bare ends. No extra charge if you want ring ends all round.
