    well i am crap at golf but as long as its drink per hole or somehting like that it could be fun, will attempt to bring my clubs along, put me down as a tentative 5

    GOLP, GOLP ...!!!! .. update ....

    well folks ...

    .. we do have a golp booking at CANOWINDRA Golf Club, some 25-30 kms up the road from Cowra .... 9 holes, tee off at 7:30am, cost is $25 per head which covers green fees and a shared electric buggy ....:cool: :cool: :biggrin:

    .. the plan is to use this as a back up in the likely event that we cannot get onto COWRA, which of course would be first preference ... ( Cowra G/C will not be able to confirm, either way, until after 15-16 march ...) ... :( :(

    ZEDFEST: golp,golp, ... HEAR ye ..and here ye are ..!!!

    ... GOLP is now confirmed at CANOWINDRA Golf Club on Easter Sunday morning with a 7:30am tee off :)eek: :eek: :eek: !!!!) .. as suspected Cowra G/C just could not handle the range of incredible talent we were offering .... lol....:biggrin: ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ... Canowindra is 30kms north of Cowra.

    Stu, i have played twice and believe me, you will probably be bhetter than me, happy to share clubs with you, you can just carry a couple of mine in with you, that is if mine are coming need to confirm with geoff, we can have our own group for golp amatuers (read - people that suck at golp), i need a lift there too

    The opportunity to be humiliated in front of a group of total strangers, is almost overpowering.
    Seeing as I own a set of clubs which are so far untouched by human hands, I too shall tender my interest in this early morning venture.....In other words, put me down for a start(the chance to be in close proximity to Stu, whilst brandishing a lethal weapon, is too good to miss).:p:bow2::bash::zlove:

    if you have never played you will be better with a 3W or a 5W bigger sweet spot and easier to hit straight, i don't use my driver cos it never works for me

    Seriously though, you may have to have those clubs re-gripped after such a long time in storage.:eek:
    And I've see you swing a golf club on many occassions, & quite frankly I don't think Stu has anything to fear as you couldn't run after him in a fit, just to take a swing.
    Would these swings be counted as "AIR SWINGS".

    .. balls and tees ...( i will have a few spares )... all these late participants coming out of the woodwork ... :biggrin: :biggrin: :eek: :eek: .. just hope the G/C can fit the extras in ....:bow2: :bow2:

    ... you may have to go for "club hire" (if available) as most clubs do not allow a shared club arrangement ....

    note for chili: that number 12 foot club ... is most useful and commonly known as the ol' "foot niblick" .....:biggrin: :biggrin:
