I must admit though I felt safer at Max's party than the one a few rooms up. A few too many pissheads running around with beer cartons on their heads. I know Id drunk a lot that night, but sheesh, I felt decidedly sober there when I saw that sight!

What a fantastic weekend though! I even managed to cram in some lame-ass tours as well with my unwitting victims being dragged along with me (sorry Pat (LTD), Paul & Lena (Method), Brad & Nadia (DUB), Ben and Max... ). Saturday night after dinner Pat, Ben, Brad, Nadia and I took the mazda for a spin to find the only lookout in town to dispell the myth that the streetlights spell out Goulburn. Ben drove and for future reference to anyone throwing their car keys to him, you may want to point out any obstacles in the middle of the road. We almost had to turn around and go back for the Mazda's exhaust after Ben decided to go straight over the top of a policeman's toes (not real ones, but the lump of metal in the middle of some intersections). Man, if we were in a zed instead Id hate to think of the damage... As it is, the mazda is pulling sharply to the right now... (only kidding Ben, but Im reassessing your driving rights to my car. ). Anyway.... The streetlights of goulburn do not spell out "Goulburn" or "sucked in!" or anything like that... But hey, it was a nice lookout...

...and Max, was not the giant merino MUCH more interesting than you thought it was going to be?? :LOL: Not everyone at the Nationals got the opportunity to feel real wool and look at a bucket of lanolin and dirt like we did. There should be an interesting photo floating around somewhere of Lina piggybacked by Paul piggybacked by Max piggybacked by Ben infront of the merino. I dunno... some mass hysteria or something.. I just smiled, nodded and took the photo...

Apart from the shennanigans, the weekend was super! Lots of car stuff, drinking, talking crap, and folks being creative with beer cartons... I can't wait for the next event like this!

it was great to meet everyone in person at Goulburn, what a weekend!

not to mention Wizard and Wokburner running 1.15s on street tyres! Wiz said plant the foot and hang on was his technique! :lol:

and of course JPs slot car took me by surprise standing on the start finish straight a couple of times as it flew past. a really amazing car!

so - when's the next one?

J.P. kept saying, smooth Wiz smooth,I'll grant you smooth is quicker, but not as much fun though.
Pretty happy with 1.15s on stock tyres/suspension and a auto to boot.
Chuffed when they took me out of the blue group and stuck me in with the guns in the red group.
You guys looked pretty good too,JP, JT, fleet, wok,Ltd, Dub.and what about Aza in the N/A.:thumbsup:

Especially a legend I met in Goulborn named Mark (aka zed4life). Mark, you the are the best mate, you are a living legend! I can not believe the Zed community has people that good. I should have joined it long time ago.

The bad news is that I have been caught speeding and with one Green plate (total of 8 points when all I had was 4 since I am a Green P plater). It still makes me feel bad and I am hoping I will find a way to get out of it somehow.
