8 months ago when i decided to do this i didnt really have any money. Only inspiration. Now im getting there, for all u nay Sayers this will be happening, if its the last thing i do while im alive. Its personal preference and nothing else, no wank factor or anything to be gained but a fking smile on my face.

    Hmm

Preference aye? So it IS like putting Falcon engine into a commodore lol. Kidding!

Don't worry about these haters Romonski. There just jealous. You've got a solid plan AND a very experienced mechanic with a great track record. I believe it will happen.

I mean the slower you take this build, the better chance you have of doing it right. Slow and steady wins the race.

Just be sure to see it through to the end. I wanna see you at the drags when it's all said and done. So I can kick your arse :D

    Soldier on my friend.

Hey I'm all for the project, Im the biggest "do it custom" supporter you will ever find, but I am also aware of the finances and over all toll that it takes after taking 4 years to finish mine due to any number of personal hicups.

But there is wank factor... nothing wrong, wank factor is being proud of something. The challenge and then being able to show it off and be proud of what you have done is wank factor.

I dont think we are all nay sayers, just educated from past attempties and realists...

But I hope it does get finished..... until then..... PICS OR BAN! :D

Mind you "this will be happening, if its the last thing i do while im alive" probably might be a good time to relook at your goals in life if this is the be all and end all deciding factor.... before you die lol

    Helping hand

I too have a different engine in my zed and was verbally bashed by many of the so called experts on the forum when I popped my head up and announced what I was doing. I've fitted a 1UZFE V8 auto to my zed and it drives very nicely. I'm happy with the car and anyone who's not can shove their opinion. I know I'm a long way from you but to help kick start you again am offering any machining, milling, welding (fabrication) any electronic design / interfacing for free. That is I will throw in my time and use of gear for nics to help make your project work. You just send me a drawing/spec pay for the raw materials and shipping and I'll build it and sent it back. Regards Ivan

Aww i dont know bout that Anthony, Josh's build has taken a good while and he's got plenty of "funny business" for all of us :D I know that I wasn't doing a rebuild but a sense of humour was all that kept me goin. Ask Aiden, until I started smiling I was going crazy over everything and anything that didn't go to plan. Don't change your Mind, but a smile and laugh can be your best tools in Conquering this endeavor. I don't know much but I know this - This build WILL test your sanity.

    Whoohahahahooo buzz click twitch twitch.
