Is there enough room to run a small water to air cooler. Meth injection can be an ass when your out and empty on a hot day, its just something else you need to worry about.
if i did a water to air cooler it would still need to be mounted up the front of the car like the air to air . I dont think running out on hot days would be such an issue as i dont think ill ever really hit boost in normal driving with so much torque to drive with down low . Im also thinking if i run 2 x2000cc injectors with methanol ill have much more power potential ( higher octane , more fuel )
Far out, complicated I'd just look at one of the off the shelf kits for water/meth injection. Dumping Methanol into the inlet for the purpose of additional fueling isn't really the best way of doing it... Do it properly and get some larger injectors. Jecs ones are quite reasonably priced.
i dont really see anything dodgy about it , it would all be mapped out by the ecu and only when there is alot of air flowing through there. really any methanol added should be taken into account with the fuel or it would be running rich . Just found some stuff on it on the ray hall site apparently 10% methanol gives you a 5 point raise in octane then adding some water takes it even higher .Im a little concerned about my 10.2 to 1 compression ratio
i dont really see whats so complicated , simple would have been leaving the vg in there my other option is a even bigger bonnet bulge for a intercooler pipe and id rather keep it looking almost stock
Because you are mixing the fuels the stoich point will be changing as the percentage of methanol in the cylinder increases. Gonna be a bastard to tune.
run this radiator on the front of your car like a FMIC it about the same size but slightly larger (requires custom reinforcement bar). run the turbo in front of the engine with no intercooler and water meth injection. This will solve all your problems. I am using this process on my ls1 and you can fit a GT42 sized turbo in there with 60mm wastegate. i have the engine set pretty far back so dont know how different vh45 is. Just my 2 cents. anyway. VH45 seems really large. i can put my l98 manifolds on with the engine in the car and also change the starter
yeah the original plan went along those lines but with a intercooler in front and and the radiator in the boot it would have looked nice but i couldnt fit a exhaust decent sized exhaust in
more elctrical has been done and still have to wire in the fans and fuel pumps . im thinking of stacking a heap of guages on the dash or maybe getting one of these just not sure it is the style i want in my car more of a race car thing but it certainly looks usefull . http://www.exhaustgas.com/ProductDe...epartmentID=10&CategoryID=53&RepID=&BasketID=
I think that looks impressive, but IMHO you can't beat ease of just glancing at a gauge... Plus there's something satisifying about winding the needles around.

I'm kind of new here just joined today so I hope I'll make good friends! I joined this site since I want to read Yuri fanfics that I couldn't find anywhere else. Still, nice to meet you all
ive been doing a bit on this lately , today i cut all the intercooler and water piping ready to get welded up . Not much left to do im getting a bit excited
set the bonnet up how i want it today , im going to glass over that then shape it how i want with filler and take a mold to make the real bulge . i tried to keep it as factory looking as i could . i also modified the throttle body the other day to eliminate the s shaped cam set up it had , it would have been nice to have but the extra parts it uses end up being the highest part of the motor over that side and it anything was to hit the bonnet i dont want it to me something that will affect the throttle opening .
works started on the bonnet , im going to make a mold off this then the real one off that . cooler piping is welded up
I can't wait for this thing to be finished. It's going to go off its nut! Tops the red big single convertible in the states... be sure to get a LOT of videos!
