Hey Max the seats look great but i did not think Nylex made Leatherette any more ??
Most of the Nylex vinyls seem to coming out of Asia now and their quality has dropped off according to the industry.
There are however some very good leather imitations that even have the smell as well do you ever use these??and could they be done with one of these??

First time I ever seen the seat covers around 3 years ago, I though they were genuine leather,
Same as the rest of the car club was convinced that it was leather.
The quality of Nylex hasnt been reduced since. It is very hard to distinguish the differrence between two for general usage. You really need to be a professional eye.
I use the highest quality material available, and Nylex is the best at the moment.
There are other crap ones, which will reduce the price even more, but I dont like the look and quality of it.
My view is that, if I wont use it, I wont simply sell it.

Regarding to smell, I never spent any attention to it tbh. i guess it doesnt have such strong smell.
However, I know that there are cleaning products out there, which also gives the constant leather smell.

 

They look good mate, if thats how i get it, id be pleased. Just another note in closer inspection there is a differnce with the style of stiching. I was hoping if i can get the top stiching like the fto's you got on that ebay link. on these covers, is that all possible.

The style is the copy of the factory trim,
I am only able to supply one format of the covers which is as according to the photos.

Hey Max.
Could you tell me what colour (number) the inner parts of the FTO seats in your add are.
Are they 29 grey? or 7 grey?

Sorry Max but what im asking is what colour the inserts of the FTO seats are, It looks to me like it is No. 7 on the colour chart, but on the avaliable colour chart No. 7 isnt their, and the only other grey is No. 29 but this looks a lot darker than the FTO seats in the pictures.

So i guess what im saying is that the inserts on the FTO seats in the pictures dont seem to match the avaliable colours , is this discontinued stock or something?

The inner colour in the photos are Grey (29)
I have always supplied only one tone of grey up till now.
The reason why it looks slightly darker is due to the scanning.
I recommend looking at the photos rather than the colour chart.

 

No offence intended, but that brings me back to my point of the colour chart being fundamentally useless!

Hehe....im back again...couldnt resist from staying away from aus300zx despite my exams. I know your probably annoyed about all the Qs but just want to make a few things clear. You said that there are only a few colours available from the chart you provided, are you still limited to those colours if i buy only extra material for the retrim(console etc). Also do you supply instructions for the console retrim or we have to get it done by a pro. If i have to take it to a pro does anyone know a good resonale place in sydney/newcastle and if so am i better off getting the letherette from them.

btw i was after the number 5 or if not possibly number 10 from the chart. I do belive there was some one else after that too. I really appreciate all your going though so i understand if you cant supply it but if you can i will really really appreciate it.

To give poor max a break, I've included the

No instructions supplied for the panel retrimming, and this is even simpler job then the seat covers. I have done my door cuts for FTO few times now. All you have to do is;
- take of the factory ones,
- cut to size,
- use a strong contact adhesive to glue the covers on
- put it all back in
- clean any excessive adhesive
- save the money from the professionals, and buy some more parts for the car
- It can be all done at home.

Honestly, I have seen guys done magnificant job at home, covering every sq of FTO interior with this method. In the mean time, I am sure there will be few how to guides done by the buyers once it all started.

Regarding to availability of more colours, still waiting for an answer from the production on that.
