Pics of my Z with new wing - love it or hate it?

Don't like it. All wings look tacked on and don't flow at all. The rear of the zed is too round

I like the original wing, only thing better is a bigger version of the original wing like on cams car-




i think you deserve points for effort but at the end of the day it's still a fail

 

I think half of the problem is that I dont like the wing on R34s anyway.

Has anyone ever fit an R32 GTR wing to a ZED?

R32 represent!

 

I like it. He's dared to be different like I do and I respect that.
Side view isn't too flattering as angles vary but it might improve fuel consumption.

Some things took time to grow on me and even my opinion changes on certain things over time.

Good on you G man, enjoy your new wing.
Can nick it the Bi-Plane or something like that now haha.

o wow, not as clear cut as i thought !!!!

 

took the words out of my mouth, looks so gay on top of the stock spoiler.
to me it looks like you just didn't know you could remove the stock one so you slapped the r34 wing on top, massive laziness detracts from what could be a really nice look.

basically you've ruined the sleekness of the stock look, and ruined the sportiness of the r34 look.
Remove the stock spoiler and re attempt

i actually think the r34 spoiler could do with a 2-3" cut height wise, get it a bit closer to the body and it would look alot more sleek

I don't mind it. But the back's too busy IMO. Remove a few stickers so there's less going on, and it'll detract from the overall effect less They look shoddy on the back anyway.

 

Yeah, I should remove those stickers. They were both on there when it arrived from Japan 6 years ago, don't even notice them anymore - but as you said, they are very obvious to fresh eyes.

some people spend hours fitting gay kits and ruining their cars with neons but no one appreciates the hours they put into that do they?
no, cause it looks gay

I reckon you had an incredible looking Z before this addition. Not saying I dislike what you've done - I'd just say your car sure didn't need anything else!!!

 

Not fair comments at all trav, its your opinion if you dont like it, i spent alot of time fitting that spoiler and it was done very well, the stock spoiler was removed and fitted on and off a dozen times since Kris wanted both spoilers on after seeing the pic of that black zed. The stock spoiler had to be notched and alot of other modifications done to get it to fit and be at the right angle.

You may not like it but there was no laziness or penny pinching involved.

 

I guess photoshop is so much easier.

I'd say you and Mr G are the first ever to do this.
