ok here i am again , it just doesnt feel rite when my car is drivable i think . so im about to pull it apart again .

    so far ive collected
    vh45 de
    gt42 turbo
    os giken twin plate clutch
just ordered a mazworxs adapter and on that if any one else wants to buy one they list the postage as $460 but if you ask they do it for $98 .

it all looks relatively straight forwards except the exhaust manifolds which look very hard but thats where its going straight to the exhaust shop .

im hoping to run about 12 psi through it but we will have to wait and see how it goes on the dyno

up for sale soon will be my tt engine and arc side mount coolers

woohoo, another VH :D That'll make a nice power figure with that bit of boost... As you probably already know, Chrispy's build thread is an awesome source of info for the swap.

    I hate you all!

Good to see the VH is becoming a common swap.

Would love you do it myself too one day.

On topic but off topic, would a VK series engine, in particular the VK56 fit in a Z? That'd be hell cool too.
Good luck with the conversion :)

Fantastic, so good to another VH45 swap. Will be interesting to see how it goes with the turbo.

    Goodluck

not sure on the dimensions of the VK56, but the VH is quite a tight fit already...
    I'd hell do a VK45 though :D

I think you would fit it with a blower sitting on top, poking out of the bonnet. :br:

earlier in the week i made a sump and painted the rocker covers and plenum , i love how that wrinkle paint looks

ive also been trying to figure out how to fit some 180degree manifolds but im not sure how much luck im going to have fitting a big turbo and a intercooler behind the reo that goes between the rails on the convertibles so i might have to settle for a simple manifold lay out

Mating up the gearbox will be the biggest issue. You might as well go the R35 gearbox, or a proper race transaxle. By the time you have spent the money doing it you might as well have bought a R35GTR to start with...

And you should start your own thread rather than hijacking someone elses ;)

How good is that method of using wire to prototype manis? I'm thinking of using PVC pipes in with the same OD as the primaries... easier to see clearance

Chip in for a parts engine? :p I'm missing some stuff as well

I have some parts. You two put a list together and I'll see what I can dig up.

i think its really usefull using the wire because you can measure the length then bend them to make them fit , i cant imagine how hard it would be to get equal length runners by measuring pipe , i still have to drop this in the car though and see how much space there is , im starting to doubt it will fit even with out the radiator in the front i kind of forgot how huge that turbo is compared to my car
