Car....engine.....some boxes...hey what's that on the block of wood?.... SWEET JESUS!

The recent pics look great when you line them up against that - hope your recovery is continuing smoothly.

Agree with the blood-splatter theme on the timing cover, would be hilarious! :D

    Sup Brad?
Yes it's the same cover as you see in the UK. I got mine from Gonzo, he still uses the forum. Hit him up with a PM :)

    Thread dig!
Thought I'd reincarnate this as I still get asked how this finger is. It's hard to believe this happened over 2 years ago. I took some pics of my finger this morning to show those interested how it ended up looking. *These pics are with flash on, so highlight more than natural light.

Though it is a little fatter & a bit tighter movement is pretty much spot on. There is feeling in the end, but it is very numb & if it is a light touch I can not feel it.
I also have to shave it once a month as it does grow fine hairs as the graft was taken from my forearm.

A very similar thing happened to a friend of a friend (mechanic) last week. According to my friend he was cleaning the belts with a brush (why I have no idea), it grabbed and pulled his finger through the alternator pulley.

    or his... :p

    Still looks painfull healed!

Fitted that took on my old job lost a couple of fingers while cleaning a drive chain on a machine.

I heard about another guy who done the same job for 15 years - then one day cut off a finger. Spent 6 months on disability - 1x month on light duties, then his first day back to doing his old job - he cut another finger off...
