Can they be placed immediately after the throttle body butterfly's? I looked at going before them but since I only run Silicon intake hoses they would have to be way down near the radiator. Would rather thread them straight into the plenum after the TB's if there are no negative effects. Opinions?
Ideally you'd want them before the tbs so you can make certain the mixture has atomised and mixed well with the rush of intake air. In the plenum it might not mix as well and be injecting it moreso into the closest runner positioned near the nozzle. How big are your nozzles? Any pics of what type you're using?
I've been doing quite a bit of research into that lately, apparently if the atomisation is good enough there is no effect on the turbo, but with many benefits. I plan on doing pre-turbo.
I've looked into it aswell, i have heard though that pre turbo can also cause spikes in boost pressure too? Pre turbo water injection and pre TB WMI is what i'm looking at before i make the step to dedicated E85.

Some people reckon that you can use pre-turbo injection and a intercooler no problems. Other people who have actually done it have to empty their intercooler all the time
