Hi everyone, where is a good place to buy the starter motor solenoid valve?
I was stuck at the shops last night smacking the solenoid with the tyre iron trying to get it to kick.
The starter is fine, the solenoid is failing. Normally I just flick the starter with the key a couple times and it kicks the solenoid into action, though didn't want to play ball at the shops last night.
Does Rob sell these, or any other reliable shops to recommend?
    Thanks

Try this, remove the soleniod from the starter motor, take it apart, clean up all the moving parts and the terminals, spray it with deoxit.

Yep, I've danced that dance many times before my Zed days. Have found and re-soldered some cracked solenoid terminal joins. Better to take the entire starter motor off and flush it with a solvent of your choice.
