Exactly what the title says. My zed has the japtec SMICs with some custom made air guides (that i dont like). Without the airguides my new j spec indicators foul on the SMICs so im stuck with the shit Aus spec ones...

I didnt install the SMICs so... did the previous owner do it properly or are all you japtec SMIC guys shaving the backs of your j-spec indicators?

    Matt.

There is a thread around somewhere on tt.net about relocating wires out the back of the lights so they dont foul.

Ive shorted my lights a few times before this.

    Hey Matt

Are these the smoked indicators you bought from me? Which part is fouling the bulb holder?

Yea it is. Nothing wrong with the j-spec indicators. Its the SMICs.

Bulb mount relocation seems....not viable. ???

Could you possibly push the SMIC back a bit. You happy with the lights? Bulb holder is a tight fit I'm sure you have worked it out.

Cut out a little bit or cut out the holder assembly to relocate it.

Globe goes from one side to the other side. Fill in the gap with some imagination.

Matt, the alternative is to swing the SMIC's backwards at their outer edges then try to modify the existing air guides.
That's a LOT more work than butchering the indicators.

yeah thats how mine was done. might look dodgy but as long as the bulbs dont come out and they are snug in the new hole, who gives a shit what it looks like, u wont have any rubbing nor will u have a fouling indicator.
