The next round of the Marque Sports Championship is at Phillip Island on Sunday the 30th of May. For the first time in a while Aus300 has a few competitiors entered in a variety of cars so if you love some Zed Motorsport action then came for a drive down and watch. Competing will be:
    • Dino - All the way from NSW
    • Rob Bailey - In his 370
    • Dave - In his Track Evade
    • Graham - In the Tecktrader Daily Driver
    • Me - In the WYKKED mobile

Appologies if I left anyone off the list but I just had a quick skimm through the entry list. We will be down there early but if a few people are comming for a look maybe someone could organise a cruise down leaving from Cranbourne?

    What time and other details...!

    Gidday,
Just wondering what time would be a good time for spectators to turn up and is there parking/entry fee??
Sounds Interesting and would be willing to meet-up at Cranny!

I try to get there before 7am. but racing doesn't normally start until 9:30am. So any time from there until 5pm. I think we are kicked out at 6pm. Also, its free to watch. Best place is on top of the garages and corporate boxes.

Yep, aim to get there before 7.00 so you can get a good position in the pits. I believe Mikey and jack were comming down for a look so might be worth organising a cruise that leaves Cranny at a more sensible time.

The 28 day forecast has had the sunday as 75% chance of rain for a while. So I was thinking is a garage hire a good idea? We could fit at least 2 cars in each garage.

Hmmm, I was going to put the RE55's on and get a new wheel alignment. I may leave that till mid next week now.

If it looks like rain I will leave the G3 Potenza's on the car.

Guys, I will be arranging a garage in any event - I will be taking my compressor, rattle gun and a few other bits and pieces, plus we will have to store some 100-unleaded race fuel and I'm not that keen on storing it in the open. Welcome to share, and/or book two side-by side. Cost was $150 per garage last weekend (we took the race car down to test it prior to this weekends state round at Sandown), so looks like $75/car.

I would definately be up for sharing a garage Rob. I think Dave with his car being topless would also want in. Can you organise two side by side when you make your booking? I take down a full tool chest and alloy jack so we should be well covered.

Just called Philip Island and garages cannot be pre-booked ... so will have to get there early and snaffle a pair ........... I will be leaving Warrandyte at 5:45am, aiming to arrive before 7:30, so if anyone gets there beforehand, pls talk the the guy in the PI ute and ask him to open two garages side-by-side for us.

Be great if I can make use of your jack and save me lugging mine for a 4,000km round trip. I'm hoping to make enough spare room to pick up Wokkie's rims on the way back.
