Ok guys, it must have been time for change, I quit my job 2 weeks ago (7 yrs), start the new one in 2 weeks, Sold my 300zxTT last weekend and then picked up this yesterday.. who knows what that thing is on the back shelf, some kind of endangered species... I'm calling the RSPCA.. it's a '69 1 owner, original engine with a rebuild, done 179000 miles.. comes with a spare engine, gearbox dif, boxes of parts, some old some new.. ie brand new engine mounts and front indicator lenses, who knows what else.. Just have to finish clearing out the old shed so I can put the new one up.. I miss My Zed already though.. least it's a Datsun/nissan and got numbers in it's name.. ha ha
That car looks like its in mint condition. Got any plans for it? Doesn't really look like it needs a restoration, well at least body wise it looks pretty good from the pics.
haha wicked i havent seen one of those in ages and never in that condition. Personally i would do that downgrade because im a vain bastard who needs a Z to fill the gap in my self confidence but that thing looks like a nice little unit
A few.. of the guy's that have been arround to pick up their Zed parts have cracked up, as there is 8 Datto 1000's lined up in my back yard.. it's been a hobby for many years, very old skool, the Wagon (thats been sitting in the panel shop for many years) has an A14, big cam, light flywheel, sidedraught carbs, should be great fun, you see it's all about weight.. that little Datto weighs in at 650kg.. the A14 should have 120hp at the treads..
draco ... just like the zed, it is a datto ... (flame me) .. .. but really, it does need speed stripes and twin overhead foxtails .... !!!
