Hey Guys, Looking for some guidance or suggestions with fuel injectors. Engine currently getting New gaskets and sseals, changing the valve springs, Most likely hi flow stock turbos. Probably chasing around the 350hp- 400hp figure. I was considering 550cc deatschwerks any thoughts or other reccomendations ? Cheers
550 injectors should be fine if you're planning to use 98 fuel. If you want any ethanol fuel, you should use later model injectors or top feeds. I'm using Nismo 555 with high flows at 17 psi for 280 rwkw.
Yeh 98 fuel , wont go down the ethanol route just a fun street car. Where did you get your nismo's ? And how much ? Also did you go ball bearings with your hi flows ? Thabks
I got my Nismo injectors about 15 years ago and I'm not sure where I got them from (and they might not be a good source now). I think I paid close to $1k Yes, I have ballbearing hi flows.
From memory you have a series 2 motor? Be mad not to use Nismo 555 or 740 - they'll drop right in the rail and work with your existing harness connectors.
Nismo 555s should do the job for his HP goals. Reliable too. Some parts or sub-assemblies deteriorate over time even with little use but IB has been running 555s for 15 years, I've been using them for 12 years now. Never had an issue. They just work.
Thanks for the input from all, I went with the aus style injectors 750cc from zshack I dont have any good reccomendations for hiflowing in WA. Sending it interstate just isnt worth it. Anyone have any gt2860s ? or good condition hi flowed turbos ?
I just bumped some gtx2863 in the forsale section, he might still have them. They are better then gt2860 in every way.
