The time has come... (no not Midnight oil lol!) to say goodbye to my marvelous Beast... I won't say too much as to why except that money has a large amount to do with it and the fact that I found a couple of other things that need fixing. I got 12 great years out of it. Ate up some amazing roads and drove it like I was riding a Dragon!! All in the company of a great bunch of Blokes. I'm not saying goodbye to the Zed scene(or the blokes) because in about 18 mnths give or take, I'll be buying a post 2007 350Z Convertible. It's seems almost prohpetic that my Son bought me a Model Z for Christmas lol..almost a memorial. http://www.aus300zx.com/forum/showthread.php?t=336518 So what will I be driving at Zed Cruises(yes...at the back of the pack) ...a 2004 BMW M3 320i Sedan...which will become my Wife's when I am once again Zedding!! :br:
Where did it go? Sold as a parts car? Complete as not running? Glad you'll be stick around mate, no shame in coming to cruises at the back of the pack. I had to attend a few in the hairdresser roadster when my Z was off the road.
Sorry to see you sell the Zed.... but when its time, its time But I'm confused Sean, is it an actual M3 or a 320i with an M sports pack? If its an actual M3, I'd be holding onto that little gem
Hmmmm don't know.. ...I don't know BMW's that well but it was shown as a 2004 320i not as an M3 so it must be a 320i with an M3 sports pack. It has a nice exhaust tone and M3 1/4 panel badges, door sills, steering wheel, wheels and the carbon fibre wheel and hood / boot badges. Handles on the road reaalllly nice. Nice firm suspension setup.
You aren't the only one, here it is explained in this link (animation) http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=959533
That's a shame to see it gone Shaun. Definitely still come along to cruises! I need to get myself to one soon too.
Yaeh definately.. ...I was thinking we should do another Peninsula Cruise now that the summer crowds have gone!! Hint hint lol!
