ZedFest #11: Sydney 2024 29th March - 1st April

    Next year AUS300 will once again be hosting ZedFest, marking 11 events and 22 years (I think!) since the inception.

    This year we are trying something a little different and hosting the long weekend in Sydney. There will be the ususal events including a show and shine and prize giving, as well as cruises, and we hope that by brining it back to a major city we might encourage a few more people to turn up for events.

    Base of operations from 29th March to 1st April 2024 will be the Gateway Motel, Vineyard. Get in touch with them ASAP to book your room if you're intending to join us.

    Itinerary

    Friday 29th March
    Morning: Arrival and welcome to the Gateway Motel, Vineyard.

    Contact the motel on 02 9627 6022 or email reception@gatewaymotel.com.au to book your room. Make sure you identify yourself as a guest of Aus300zx and ZedFest.

    Evening: Dinner at The Australian Hotel & Brewery, 350 Annangrove Rd, Rouse Hill, from 6:30. Free parking is available on site. Our reservation is under "AUS300zx" or Robert Sidaway.

    Saturday 30th March
    Morning: Show and Shine at Western Sydney Parklands, Bungarribee Park Runway Carpark from 10am. Enter via the intersection of Doonside Rd and Holbeche Rd, Arndell Park. A pizza lunch at the Bung picnic site will be provided at $10/head.

    Afternoon: City Cruise from the harbourside end of Blues Point Rd, McMahon's Point, to Harry's Cafe De Wheels via the Rocks, Bondi and Vaucluse. Details at https://maps.app.goo.gl/pdVLVc98NZpnvGLx5. Be ready to leave McMahon's Point at 5:00pm to arrive at Harry's at 6:15 for dinner.

    Sunday 31st March
    Morning: Cruise to Harrigan's Irish Pub, 2090 Broke Rd, Pokolbin, via Putty Road and Grey Gum Cafe. Route details at https://goo.gl/maps/1SN1n8vJnguQRw7P9. UHF/CB radios please use channel 12 for the cruise.

    Be ready to leave at 10:00am from Windsor McDonalds, 242 Windsor Rd, Vineyard. Lunch will be from 1:00pm at Harrigans. Our table is booked for under "AUS300zx" or Robert Sidaway.

    Evening: Presentation and awards at 89 Thai, 146 George St, Windsor, from 6:30pm. Our booking is under Robert Sidaway.
