Tonight my zed came home from work through the rain, parked in the garage, and when it got dark, turned on it's own RH headlight and LH parker light. The ignition switch off, the keys not in the switch. To turn them off I switched the light switch to "on" then "off" again, but the lights flicked back on independently after about 8-10 seconds.

Are zeds afraid of the dark? Any help appreciated.

Lucky it's April fools day and the mods aren't actually charging people for post whoring :p
Evidently you have some wiriing that has gotten water into it and shorted out. I'm not sure if the wires right at the back of the headlight still receive power when engine off, though i'd assume not. Check everywhere that water could enter the engine bay or behind the day

    All good

I pulled the headlight relays out and re seated them, checked all related fuses (all good).
As a normal diagnostic procedure, I lit a candle at my shrine to remove the bad juju.
This has seemed to do the trick.
I will write a tech article on shrine building, for these occasions.
