ZCON 09 in TX, USA

Sup everybody,
ZCON 09 was a huge success and getting to meet so many ppl from the Z community and other vendors was a real treat. Steve Millen came out and it was pretty cool to see an icon of Nissan Racing mixing it up with the best of us.

Matt (Matt Z Garage) & I also wanted to formally say it was really nice to meet and converse with all the guys from Z1, Kuah from SPL, Kyle from IPP, the guys from Cobb Tuning, Rick aka Halo, Mike aka collegeboy, Tim aka Woody, All the AMS guys and all the others. I look forward to seeing everyone again at the next ZCON. Hopefully some of you Aussie guys can make it across the pond and mix it up a little with us next year.

I didn't hire the females out there. Believe it or not those were the only two worth looking at honestly. I don't know your taste in women but I can assure you that the redhead was the best looking one out of any of them. Regardless the first image they took with the enigne was for a reason. The owner is in Iraq fighting in the war. I wanted him to get a feel for ZCON while he is out there. Besides...his engine that I'm building will be making in excess of 1500HP.

Overall though...everything there went really well.

 

1500hp!! Not just doing a little bit to beat Z1 I see Can't wait to see that!

 

Actually Z1 only made 836rwhp at 36psi...they made their total number with NOS. The numbers I'm planning on producing is with boost alone. My customer isn't in competition with Z1 or any other company. He wants to do this for himself. he has the budget and the mindset...so I am doing what he wants to do.

 

well he's in the US Army..they send him into a hot LZ...he's technically in war. by definition of course.

+ 1 on mikeys statement. is that rail across the plenum to hold the coilpacks and neaten the throttle cables or what? looks amazing.

 

That rail hold the fuel rail on so fuel doesn't piss out everywhere It's a top feed setup, so unlike stock sidefeeds the injectors don't have little individual caps to hold them on.

can get 1500hp out of a fiat 1.5L engine single turbo, well then anything is possible with the right amount of cash, good luck with that.

Both those chucks a fine some fussy m/f's round here, door jam be fked, ouch!

 

They were running those engines on methanol and paint stripper and were only used for qualifying at 1500hp. I'll be interested to see how long it lasts before it goes bang... Anyone want to develop a billet block?
