Anyone know whats involved in making my NA a turbo if I have a donor turbo model to steal from? I know I need to swap the NA crossmember for the turbo one, then is it just manifold through to exhaust and ecu? I should probally swap the injectors over too right?
Why not the whole motor? Compression ratio will be different, sump will have a turbo oil drain, bits for the turbo oil supply...........
advertised as motor needs rebuild and my NA seems to be sweet as, besides a leaking rocker cover but that can be fixed when I go through the effort of changing cross member etc.. Besides the compression issue everything else required for turbo conversion is bolt on and shouldnt be damaged by a stuffed motor. Nothing I need from this motor should be affected by whatevers happened to require a rebuild.
