I have the 2 door TT J spec, the washer bottle and accompanying washer pumps are located in the rear quarter panel, so I thought...
looking to up the pressure a bit I intended to fit my Z31 headlamp washer pump in its place (4 x the size and pressure of OEM one) I found out that there are in fact two sequencial pumps one mounted on the bottle itself (standard stuff) plus another pump in the line mounted in the front of the Drivers front fender (same size) which I guess would be required mounting the bottle in the rear.
I fitted the bigger pump easily in the fender and now I can wash the screen of the 3rd car behind me as well lol. Talk about overkill...
Now I know that you can pop out the metal spray tips from the washer nozzles to clear them of junk etc (the centre hole of the three, insert a paper clip? into the middle hole, turn to the side and pull out the tip, easy !)
Also fitted the new Bosch wiper blades, the one piece disposables, I doeas away with the metal frames the blades usually fit into, what a great product, I can highly recommend them, silent and a perfect wipe every time.

Thanks, I didn't know about the removable washer heads. What about the rear one on the hatch window does that work the same?
