    Hello everybody,

A couple of nights ago someone smashed my driver's side window and so I am looking at wrecked zeds to purchase a new one, could anybody tell me whether the driver's window is specific to 2+2 and 2+0 models? My zed is a 2+0 so obviously wondering whether I can get a window from a 2+2.

I had a search through threads and tech section and couldn't find an answer thanks for any replies.

    Harry.

P.S. Luckily I took the chance to take a bunch of great photo's with a HDR camera and a friend who's a budding photographer the night before it was smashed and am waiting for my chance to submit them for the 2013 calender :zlove: Might go add them to my car's page in my garage

Yep windows are slightly different between 2+0 & 2+2.

A 2+2 window does fit on a 2+0 car but theres a 1cm gap between top of the window and seal. I guess its the way the roof slopes back.

Mate of mine accidently smashed my passenger window, so he got a 2+2 window from the wreckers for $80 as a temporary replacement to keep the rain out until I could source a proper 2+0 one. 2+0 ended up costing me $250 with shipping from Cresta..

Should check out ppl wrecking cars on the forum, would be cheaper..
