theres alot of factors, age, driving record, where the car is housed, previous insurance record etc ,so it differs for each individual applying ;)

    Wow, $768 is cheap.

Im also with Shannons, 31 yo, no accidents, Rating 1, Garaged in a good suburb and also fully insured as a 'limited use' vehicle (not every day driven) and mine is just over $1000.

You might be surprised to find

that your definition of a "good suburb" and an insurer's were very different. My move from Sydney's west to the Central Coast brought my premium down by over 30% (to $787). In my daughter's case (X-Trail) it actually halved. :)

Get on one of those on line quote systems and play around with the postcode field and you might well be amazed at what can happen. If you have a TT, you will find the car isn't listed, so try a NA or something else for the test.

I get $520 pa fully comp through Torque Lumleys, although they dont do import cars for new customers any more. They nearly wouldn't insure Tammy's Skyline, but they let it go because I was an existing customer with the Z.

    I am rating 1, 36yo garaged etc etc .
