Its my birthday 26 today, and have the next 4 days off to relax. How nice is that? My g/f bought me a Dremel for my b/day, so now Ive got to find some handy things to do with it. Any suggestions?BTW, hopefully my radiator, steel lower hose, water wetter and thermostat will all arrive this week. I nearly ran into trouble with my radiator from the U/D pulley install. I didnt quite tighten the hoses enough when I reinstalled the radiator. It wasnt leaking, I was careful with that, but after a bit of a drive, I parked the car and could hear it hissing. Air was escaping through the side of a pipe join. I quickly tightened the clamp back on properly. Good thing I heard it, the radiator was practically bone dry! Just a lesson to everyone (lots of ppl soon to be recieving their UD pulleys) to dbl check your installation and be careful. On another side note, anyone trying to get in touch with me on my hotmail email, please use the address Ive got listed on the forum instead. I dont know if my p/w has been hacked or what but I cant get into my account atm. Wont even let me reset my p/w. Hopefully I will get it fixed in the next couple of days.
Happy birthday... ...now with your dremel, you'll be able to cut open dead ptu's(if you get a soldering iron you'll be able to repair them), just make sure you wear some form of protection for your eyes while using it=)
oh you gotta be joking me that was my bday yesterday as well 21st of April, i turned 19 =). I was a little disapointed as when i woke up i didnt find my car with all it's part back together and a full stillen kit with fresh paint job. Any gf that got me that bday present i would marry instantly lol. Ah well i can only dream lol.
start polishing with that dremel. I just finished a 4 day stint polishing all the turbo heat shields, piping etc. Still many hours of polishing ahead.
