The master & slave usually pack up at around the same time.......

so most people change them both together (it saves a lot of trouble & works out cheaper in the end)

That price sounds about right for a NA. A TT m/cylinder is about $40 cheaper than a NA.

Seeing that you are going to change the m/cylinder you should think about getting a SS braided clutch line. Your original rubber one is probably a bit spongey now anyway and a SS one will bypass all that complicated plumbing and allow you to bleed the clutch from the slave cylinder ONLY instead of having to use that PITA bleeder on the inner guard. It makes life easier

I had my one custom made by a brake specialist for about $100....

but I think some local suppliers now carry "off the shelf" ones which will cost you a bit more but saves you some of the hassle.

When I had mine made there were no ready made ones available but I still would have had mine custom made because I wanted to avoid using the "banjo fitting" that car manufacturers persist in using. IMHO they are a poor excuse for a hydraulic hose fitting

The clutch line from Concept is just a replacement for the oem one....

the one I am referring to is about 80cms long and goes from the master to the slave cylinder and eliminates all the oem plumbing that runs across the firewall and halfway down the inner guard.

The bypassing of the oem plumbing is what makes the clutch bleed a piece of cake instead of a real PITA.

The short one from Coz will cost you about $AU75-80 and take 3 or 4 days to get here. The guy made mine in about 15 minutes and was definately worth the extra few bucks.
