weight of a TT or n/a.. "engine"

    just a quick Q+A, anyone know the weight of the N/A and/or TT engine by itself?

    need to buy an engine stand tomorra and theres a few on special but need to know the weight before i start pulling me current engine:p
    yes ive used the search but all i get is the weight of the car as a whole so help please:D

    Somewhere around 250-300KG for a complete TT engine.

    Just grab the 450kg one from supacheap. Only like 100 bucks when I got mine and does its job just fine.

    I just used a cheapy, but used the car scissor jack to support the engine just to be on the safe side
